Storyline:
In the early 1980s, Georg Dreyman (a successful dramatist) and his old friend Christa-Maria Sieland (a popular actress), huge intellectual stars in (former) East Germany, although they secretly do not always walk the line the party. One day, the Minister of Culture was interested in Christa, so the secret agent Wiesler is instructed to observe and voiced pair, but her life fascinated him more and more.
